Argentina (AR) — civil law.

Nothing on this page describes United States practice. There is no certificate sold to an investor, no administrative sale of land for unpaid tax, and no redemption window after a subasta judicial in Argentina. If you arrived carrying US assumptions, read falsos-amigos first.

Formosa (Capital) — the municipal tasas layer

In Formosa the provincial impuesto inmobiliario reaches only rural land (Código Fiscal Ley 1589 art. 119, verified on formosa). Inside the city’s ejido the property tax is municipal: the city’s Código Tributario says it is levied “de conformidad a las Leyes Provinciales de Transferencia 1036 y 1087”. So an urban parcel in Formosa owes the city both an Impuesto Inmobiliario and a Tasa Única de Servicios — not “tasas only”. Provincial side: fisco-formosa. Layer overview: Municipios.
