Argentina (AR) — civil law.

Nothing on this page describes United States practice. There is no certificate sold to an investor, no administrative sale of land for unpaid tax, and no redemption window after a subasta judicial in Argentina. If you arrived carrying US assumptions, read falsos-amigos first.

Santa Fe (Capital) — the municipal tasas layer

The provincial capital. This page covers only the municipal levy on real property; the provincial impuesto inmobiliario belongs to API — see fisco-santa-fe and santa-fe. Layer overview: Municipios.

Retrieval status

On 2026-10-09 both santafeciudad.gov.ar (including its oficinavirtual PDF store) and the Concejo’s ordinance PDFs returned a bot challenge or 404, so no municipal ordinance text was read directly. Everything below that names a Santa Fe ordinance is carried as needs_verification and must be confirmed against the Concejo’s Sistema de Información Legislativa or the city’s Oficina Virtual.

The opening section is open to everyone. The procedure in detail — statutes, deadlines, who may bid, and what the record does not say — is behind a free account.

We ask for one because writing these from primary sources is slow work, and knowing who relies on it tells us which country to do next.
