Argentina (AR) — civil law.

Nothing on this page describes United States practice. There is no certificate sold to an investor, no administrative sale of land for unpaid tax, and no redemption window after a subasta judicial in Argentina. If you arrived carrying US assumptions, read falsos-amigos first.

Chubut splits the property tax by territory: the provincial impuesto inmobiliario is charged only on land outside the ejidos municipales, so inside Trelew’s ejido the municipality is the property-tax creditor. This page covers that municipal levy and the service tasas billed with it. Provincial side: fisco-chubut and chubut. Layer overview: Municipios.
