Argentina (AR) — civil law.

Nothing on this page describes United States practice. There is no certificate sold to an investor, no administrative sale of land for unpaid tax, and no redemption window after a subasta judicial in Argentina. If you arrived carrying US assumptions, read falsos-amigos first.

Colegio de Escribanos de la Provincia de Córdoba

The notariat of Córdoba is governed by Ley 4183, the Ley Orgánica Notarial (texto ordenado by Decreto 2252/75; sanctioned 6 June 1975, published 17 June 1975), in the version the colegio itself publishes (Ley 4183, escribanos.org.ar). It may open delegations in each judicial circunscripción’s seat (art. 81). Discipline involves a Tribunal de Disciplina Notarial.

Source status

The Ley 4183 text read is the colegio’s consolidated copy, not the Boletín Oficial; its peso amounts date from 1979 (Ley 6352) and later amendments are needs_verification.

The opening section is open to everyone. The procedure in detail — statutes, deadlines, who may bid, and what the record does not say — is behind a free account.

We ask for one because writing these from primary sources is slow work, and knowing who relies on it tells us which country to do next.
