Argentina (AR) — civil law.

Nothing on this page describes United States practice. There is no certificate sold to an investor, no administrative sale of land for unpaid tax, and no redemption window after a subasta judicial in Argentina. If you arrived carrying US assumptions, read falsos-amigos first.

The REMATES block is not limited to provincial courts: on 8 Oct 2026 it carried a notice from a national commercial court in CABA announcing an electronic sale on the CSJN portal under Acordada 15/2025 for goods located outside Río Negro. A buyer searching only the national gazette would miss provincial publication of the same sale, and vice versa.
